This is my lidded project! I love it! It's about 5 inches tall and 3 in diameter. It's made from yellow sea mix and glazed with shadow green on the outside and yellow on the inside. The yellow is a really gross mustard color, so thank god there's a lid. The glaze color gives it a very earthy feeling, with a contrast in the yellow. This is the first lidded project i've made that I like.

This is my large wheel bowl. It's about 4 inches tall and 12 inches in diameter. It's made from white sea mix, and glazed with tomato red and white. The white stripes on the inside show line and pattern, and the white stripe around the lip that melted downward shows movement. I was hoping for more contrast between the two glazes, but the white came out very watery and weak.
This is my third bowl. It's about 4 inches tall and 8 in diameter. I used white sea mix to throw this bowl, and glazed it with teal and pink. The teal was the first layer of glaze, and the pink on top made it come out of the kiln more turquoise than I expected. I used a brush to glaze it, because the teal glaze is in a jar, and i regret not dipping it somehow because it came out streaky and splotchy. The glaze is bright and emphasizes the size of the bowl, and gives it a ocean-like feeling.
This is my groups's coil pot! Zoe and Sydney are in my group. Our whole group made the coils and attached them, and Sydney glazed it. It's about 4 inches tall and 5 in diameter. The coils are vashon red and vashon white. The colors of the clay create contrast and the black glaze in the cracks creates lines and a sense of dimension.
This is my extra planter. It's about 2 1/2 inches tall and 5 in diameter. It's made from porcelain, and because of porcelain's elasticity I could bend the lip into little ripples! I glazed it using shadow green and teal with white drips on the side and inside. I already put one of my succulents in it so you can't see the inside, but it's very pretty! The glaze shows movement in the drips, the shape of the lip shows pattern in the repetition of the bends, and the color of this planter harmonizes with the color of my plant.
This is my handle-less cup, because I loathe pulling handles. It's made from porcelain and is 3 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter too. I glazed it using forrest blue and white. The bright color of the glaze shows value by making the project seem larger, and the drips on the lip of the cup show movement. I like this cup because it reminds me of those blue aquarium rocks.
This is my first bowl, it's made from sea mix and is about 2 1/2 inches tall and 7 in diameter. I left a taller foot on the base to make it stand up a little. I glazed this bowl using teal, forrest cobalt, and shadow green by dripping the glazes on the shadow green base. The glazes show unity and harmony in the colors, and movement in the drips, and pattern in the splatters. I call it my Jackson Pollock bowl!
